I weigh 13 pounds right now. Today I sat up unassisted for the first time. Sure, I'm a bit wobbly but I did it! Also Lola shared her pacifier with me, we passed it back and forth three times.
This is me with Lola, Auntie Natasha and Poppa. We're at Mamie's baseball game where I watched her hit the ball and run to first base and also she played catcher.

MY VISIT TO CANADA
I'm visiting my mommy's family in Canada. They speak two official languages here, so anytime I read the cereal box or the Tylenol bottle I can read it in French or in English. How sophisticated!
My mamie speaks French to me sometimes 'cause that's her first language. When she talks in English she has an accent, like when she says "things" it sounds like "tings." But I know what she means.
Canada is a lovely country. If I was a Canadian and I got sick or broke my leg I could go to the hospital and not worry about having to pay a big bill cause I have crappy insurance. Everyone here is equal when it comes to health care. Good idea Canada! Why don't we do this in America?

This is my life jacket that I wear at the cottage when I go down on the dock and swim in the lake. Just to be safe. 'Cause you know what they say- better safe than sorry.

I visited my Gram and Grampa in Arizona and went for my first swim in their pool. I wore my fabulous bikini that my great Aunt Randee gave me.

This is my friend La-La-Linda. La-La-Linda is a public school teacher. She teaches second grade. A couple years ago one of her students took a gun he found under the couch at home and shot himself in the head. He didn't realize the gun was real. His mother was devastated. La-La-Linda is a wonderful teacher who spends all her own time and money on her kids in her class. My friend Shula's brother, Zack, said that the American government has it backwards - we should be investing time and money on children as they are developing their brains, instead we put all our money into educating teenagers and young adults at college long after their brains are already formed. Then he looked at me and said, "Am I right?" I just smiled at him 'cause really I don't know the answer, I'm just a baby.
